Emerald on the water: 10 photographs
The Yacht
About Emerald
Emerald is a 50 ft power catamaran that gets taken to the better anchorages. Almost every photograph of her is shot over a sandbar or off a beach in water clear enough to see the bottom, which says more about how she is run than any spec sheet does.
She takes 20 guests, up to 30 on the larger bookings, across two cabins and two heads. The helm is on the flybridge with orange cushioned seating around it, and the main saloon below is pale and simple with grey sofas and a dining table. She is a straightforward, well kept boat for people who want the day to be about the water.
Best for Swimmers, snorkellers and families who want clear water rather than a crowded bay.
What Sets Her Apart
Sandbars, clear water, flybridge helm
- 01
Flybridge helm and lounge
Orange cushioned seating around the upper helm, the best seat on the boat while she is moving.
- 02
Shallow anchorages
The captain works the sandbars and beach anchorages off the near islands rather than parking in the bay.
- 03
Slide and float platform
Rigged at the swim stop, with the platform tethered alongside the hull.
